Saunders reflects on his career inspired by television icons like Sammy Davis Jr. and Frank Sinatra, growing up in Washington, D.C., and witnessing historic events such as the March on Washington..


His experiences fueled his path into the arts, starting at Hampton University and extending to his civil rights work in Atlanta and contributions at the Frank Silvera Writers' Workshop.


He directed the FSWW/Zoomcatchers virtual play reading Elders Igniting: Many More Stories To Tell.
