03 | A Reflection on Last Week's Celebration of Juneteenth

Last week, celebrations of Juneteenth took place across America. Juneteenth, which marks the emancipation of slavery in the last Confederate stronghold in the United States, thereby freeing enslaved Africans across the country, was declared a National Holiday in only 2021, over a century and a half after its first celebration.

We at Zoomcatchers encourage continued reflection and education on the events of that day and the racial inequity that still plagues our country, as well as the remarkable resilience of the Black community in America.

Hosted by the Marketing Director of Ecamm, The VHS Club is a video podcast where best friends, Katie and Natalie, provide in-depth movie reviews for movies you've likely already seen. Grab some popcorn, dust off your VCR, and let's talk movies. New episodes stream every Thursday at 9pm Eastern on YouTube and the audio-only podcast episodes drop on Fridays on your favorite podcast player.

"We've been promising Kimberly that we'd review this one forever now, so we're finally crossing it off the list. If you haven't seen The Usual Suspects yet, dust off that VHS player and grab some popcorn because this one is epic. Kevin Spacey plays Kint, the sole survivor of a failed heist.
